Chameleon Canstruction Continues at the 2016 Valspar Championship

03/09/16 – Canstruction attends the 2016 Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, FL once again to create the famous Valspar Chameleons: Jon and Val. Having created Val for the 2015 Valspar Championship, the Canstruction team challenged design limitations by creating the two chameleons high-fiving one another in celebration of the ongoing event. This structure measurements spans a 20-foot long by 8-foot wide platform and stands nearly 5-feet high.

Created out of over 4,000 full cans of food, this Cansculpture® will be donated to Feeding America Tampa Bay following the PGA TOUR event’s conclusion on March 15, 2016.

The design features a variety of healthy vegetables, chicken, salmon, and tuna- all to benefit thousands of local men, women, and children. Jon and Val’s spirited teamwork are bringing canned art, creativity, and generosity back to the Innisbrook Resort for another year.

Special thanks to the Valspar Corporation for their continued partnership with Canstruction, Inc. As the global leader in coating light metal packages like the ones used in this build, Valspar continues to make a difference worldwide.

With Valspar’s involvement, Canstruction and construct, Cantribute® , (and color) a world without hunger.
