Canstruction 14th Annual International Competition held in Las Vegas 5/22/2010 - Las Vegas, NV - Canstruction President, Nick Telesca and Director, Carrie Kirk enjoyed lunch with David Spero, esteemed top chef and one of the Judges of the Canstruction 2010 International Competition. David is the Executive Chef of Tableau, the signature restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas’ Mobil Five Star awarded Tower Suites, where he serves impeccably prepared modern American cuisine. |

Founder, Cheri Melillo, Leaves $10,000 to Canstruction (February 4, 1949 - December 26, 2009) 05/10/2010 - Canstruction Founder and former President, Cheri Melillo, left Canstruction $10,000 after her passing on December 26, 2009 to support the continued growth of the organization. Canstruction received the donation on May 10, 2010 and we would like to express our immense gratitude to Cheri, her surviving husband Bruce and son Brion. Cheri's incredible passion for Canstruction has been both inspiring and humbling to us all. We miss her dearly. |

Disney Creates Record-Breaking Canstruction 02/11/2010- Canstruction President Nick Telesca, Vice President Michelle Browne, and Treasurer Deborah Gill, attended Disney's "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" event on Feburary 11, 2010. The Disney event, at Lake Buena Vista, Florida, saw the unveiling of the largest Canstruction ever built. The canned food is to be donated to food banks in Orlando, Miami and Atlanta. |
