Canstruction Dallas Hits Record PDF Print E-mail
ImageThe Dallas Competition reported a record 31 entries in its August Canstruction Competition. Aided by the amount of publicity Canstruction has received and a DVD the Dallas SDA Chapter created to introduce prospective teams to Canstruction, they have more than doubled the number of entries in just a year.

Goya goes Canstruction PDF Print E-mail
ImageGoya Foods of Secaucus, NJ, asked Canstruction, Inc. to build a structure as the centerpiece of their first Distributors Conference.  Over 500 distributors were flying in from South and North America for the event.  Their logo, Goya Worldwide, was a perfect match for Canstruction to design a giant globe of the world.  A team of NYC designers and volunteers came together to adopt a globe initially created by McGill Smith Punshon of Cincinnati, OH.

International Conference in NYC PDF Print E-mail
ImageThe Building Owners and Managers Association held their International Conference at New York City’s Javits convention center this past July.  New York City BOMA hosts chose the famous Yellow Checker Taxi Cab as their Icon for the conference and came to Canstruction, Inc. to design and build the famous taxi at their exhibition.  HOK,  original creators of the Taxi back in 1996, volunteered to recreate the structure for the event.  BOMA made a contribution to the Foundation and Canstruction looks forward to BOMA Chapters getting involved in their local competitions.
 
Wake County's New Kids Museum and Canstruction 2007 a Perfect Fit! PDF Print E-mail
ImageExploris and Playspace Children's Museum in Raleigh, NC, have joined forces to create a brand new kids museum opening September 29th in the downtown Raleigh area.  As part of this exciting endeavor, the new kids museum will feature an entire gallery focused on building and design.  It will be within this new gallery that Canstruction 2007 will be featured!  In addition to a direct tie-in with the new gallery area, the theme for 2007, Toys & Games, is in direct correlation with the suspense campaign for the new kids museum going on through the summer.  You can keep up to date on the new museum at www.coming929.com. As time draws nearer, a webpage will be developed to focus exclusively on Canstruction at the new kids museum.
