"SoyCANweeeee!" giant Canstruction Pig at the Nebraska State Fair
What: Nebraska Pork Producers Associations and Nebraska Soybean will Exhibit a giant Canstruction Pig at the Nebraska State Fair. This most unique9,000 plus food can project, nine months in the planning,is dedicated to fighting hunger and bringing awareness to the needs of the thousands of individuals that face food insecurity on a daily bases in Nebraska. The completed Construction®will make its public appearance at the Nebraska State Fair in the Exhibition Hall. Pork and Soybean farmers will be joined by Governor Dave Heinemanwho will visit the 8 foot pig food construction on Monday, August 27, 2012, at 1:45 p.m.

Iowa Food and Family "Back to the Farmer" Canstruction Exhibit
What: The Iowa Food & Family Project’s “Back to the Farmer” exhibit and agricultural awareness experience your first stop at this year’s fair, to be held Aug. 9-19! The one-of-a-kind, must-see exhibit, located in the south atrium of the Varied Industries Building, will feature one a Back to the Future-esque car made entirely out of canned food.

Canstruction Ford Truck Exhibit at the Missouri State Fair
What: The Missouri State Fair, along with several partners, will unite to offer a second annual food drive to help alleviate hunger in Missouri. New to the cause this year will be a Canstruction® exhibit of a full-size Ford Super Duty F-250 pickup, created with nearly 7,000 cans of food, or 3.5 tons. The display will be at the Missouri Farmers Care booth, located in the Agriculture Building, Aug. 9-19, with the canned goods going to the Missouri Food Bank Association.

Canstruction evoSpeed Shoe displayed at PUMA YARD in London
What: PUMA YARD will put its best, most charitable foot forward in association with Canstruction® by displaying a massive PUMA shoe made entirely out of cans full of food. The “shoe” is replica of the evoSPEED spike worn by PUMA’s track and field athletes. It’s made entirely out of full cans of food, and is designed/built by Thornton Tomasetti and Canstruction®.
