What: Canstruction is partnering up with Syngenta Seeds once again to build two giant ...sized Canstructures created by McGill Smith Punshon, Inc of Cincinnati, OH! Come see these structures at the Farm Progress Trade Show in Decatur IL Aug 30-Sept1 or check back for real time updates. Syngentas Mission is to feed 9 billion people by 2050. Iowa State Fair
What: Iowa Food & Family Project Partner with Canstruction The “Together We CAN!” exhibit, presented by the Iowa Food & Family Project (Iowa FFP),will be featuring Canstruction® at the Iowa State Fair Aug. 11-21. Come out and support this great cause! Located in the south atrium of the Varied Industries Building 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily, this must-see exhibit will include larger-than-life replicas of the Iowa State Fair butter cow (in honor of its 100th anniversary), a milk carton, market-size hog and landscape of soybeans and corn fields — all sculpted from thousands of cans of food.

National Cherry Blossom Festival
What: The National Building Museum in Washington, DC is hosting the National Cherry Blossom Festival Family Day. NCBF has partnered with Canstruction to build a Japanese style canstructure to celebrate the Cherry Blossom which are indigenous to Japan. All canned food after the event will be donated to the Capital City Food Bank in Washington DC
