Corporate Engagement Philosophy
Subject to limitations provided herein, Canstruction accepts funding from corporations for educational and community feeding programs, international programs, and general operations. We are committed to responsible engagement with corporations in keeping with our mission, and compliance with all rules and regulations to promote ethical and transparent business arrangements.
Written Agreements
Canstruction, Inc. shall use best efforts to have written agreements for its corporate engagements. Such agreements will detail the parameters of the use of the organization’s trademarks, service marks and logos, and will require that the corporate partners comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Privacy Policy
The organization shall maintain a Privacy Policy detailing the protection of its constituents’ information available to the general public on its website.
Conflicts of Interest
The Board of Directors, staff, certain volunteers and participants are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest including substantial ownership in corporate entities. Any potential conflicts are reviewed and addressed at least annually by the Society of Design Administration (SDA). Canstruction’s Board of Directors is the organizations governing body, elected by the members at an annual meeting. All board members are volunteers and serve without compensation.
Disclosure of Corporate Funding
Canstruction discloses all corporate funding in its financial filings which are available to the general public.
